Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which guides are useful. GA4 receives a truncated IP address, approximate location, device and browser details, the page you visited and the site that referred you. It does not receive your name or email address. Google may set first-party cookies for this purpose. You can block analytics with a content blocker or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on without losing access to any page.

Advertising

The site is supported by display advertising delivered by Adsterra and its demand partners. Ad vendors may use cookies or local storage to limit repeat impressions, measure performance and, where consent allows, personalise ads. Those cookies are set by the vendor, not by us. Blocking them leaves the articles fully readable.

We do not knowingly serve adult advertising on this site, and we do not sell personal information. If you believe an ad unit is behaving outside these rules, send the page URL and a screenshot to the address below.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests and may keep short-lived security and performance logs, including IP address, request path, user agent and timestamp. These logs are used to keep the site available and are not combined with analytics data by us.

Email

If you write to hello@casualtie-unknown.wiki, your message and address are kept only as long as needed to answer and to fix the issue you reported. They are not added to a mailing list.

Your choices

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, use private browsing, or install a content blocker. Residents of the EEA, UK and California may request access to or deletion of personal data held about them by writing to the address below; because we hold almost no directly identifying data, most requests resolve to a confirmation that nothing is stored.

Changes

Material changes to this policy are reflected in the effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
