About Casualties Unknown Guides
Casualties Unknown Guides is an independent field manual for Casualties: Unknown, the cave-exploration survival simulator from Orsoniks and Oro Interactive. The site is written for players who are already inside the first five layers and want to know why a run ended, not for search engines.
What you will find here
The core of the site is a layer-by-layer route through the demo: what each layer throws at you, which hazards are worth a detour, and what to carry before you commit to the next 300 metres. Around that sit the systems that decide most deaths — bleeding and blood volume, infection rolls, fractures, pain and consciousness — plus item tables, crafting costs and gear comparisons taken from the game itself.
Launch content is marked as launch content. Anything that exists only in the demo is labelled as demo content, and unreleased layers are described as unreleased rather than presented as playable. There are no codes pages: the game does not use them.
How the guides are researched
Facts are checked against the official Steam store page, the demo build, in-game item descriptions and the developers' public posts. Where a number comes from community testing rather than the game files, the page says so. Where a value is still changing during the launch window, the page gives the working range instead of a false precision.
Screenshots are captured from the official trailers and the demo. They are used for commentary and identification under fair use. Casualties: Unknown, its logo and its artwork belong to Orsoniks and Oro Interactive. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by either company.
Corrections
If a recipe, damage number or route is wrong, send the detail and the build number to hello@casualtie-unknown.wiki. Corrections are folded into the page and the “last updated” date rather than published as a separate note.
